Distribution Centre LED Lighting

A large OEM Tier 1 and aftermarket manufacturer runs their European Distribution Centre from Redditch, UK.  The 24/7 operation needed a complete upgrade to their obsolete lighting systems at the same time as adding in 700 meters of new narrow aisle racking.  Ecopare undertook a full lighting audit of the racking, picking, dispatch and receiving areas.  The survey data was used to develop the payback models based on a full photometric analysis of the new LED High Bays and emergency lighting.  Motion sensors for all the aisle was also included in the project.

• Removal of Metal Halide High Bay and T8 linear lighting and installing 435 LED Highbay lamps
• Installation of 700 meters of new lighting trunking in new narrow aisle racking
• Conversion of 230 emergency T8 fittings from maintained to non-maintained mode
• Installation of lighting controls by aisle and open zone for motion sensing & daylight harvesting
